Kyushu University Hospital and Medical Institutions Ethical Review Boards

Institutional Review Boards / Ethics Committees of Kyushu University Hospital and Medical Institutions have been established in compliance with applicable regulations or ethical frameworks. Each committee deals with issues of research ethics or medical ethics.

In order to improve the quality of operations and administration of the Institutional Review Boards, members of the secretariat pursue practical capabilities through developmental training.
Qualifications and certifications currently held by members of the secretariat are listed below.
・Japan Society of Clinical Trials and Research GCP Passport Certification: 3 members ・Japan Society of Clinical Trials and Research GCP Expert Certification: 1 member ・AMED Certified Research Ethics Committee Professional (CReP): 1 member
